People deserve to be known, heard, and cared for—not rushed through a healthcare system.
Sarah Verburg, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Sarah has cared for patients in family and internal medicine since 2002. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, where she learned the importance of compassionate, calm, patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois, graduating in 1995, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, graduating in 2002.
For more than two decades, Sarah has cared for patients of all ages. She believes healthcare should be built on kindness, compassion, trust, and meaningful relationships - not driven by insurance companies or government mandates. Her passion is helping patients understand their options and empowering them to choose the path that best fits their own values and goals.
Cornerstone Family Medicine was created to bring back the personal relationship between provider and patient. Through DPC, she has the time to truly listen, answer questions, and provide thoughtful, individualized care. Sarah considers it a privilege to care for individuals and families throughout every stage of life and looks forward to welcoming you to Cornerstone Family Medicine.
"Treat every patient with the same compassion, honesty, and respect you would want for your own family."
